So much for peace and tranquillity. Fishing at a competitive level can be a thrilling adrenaline rush. Put your skills to the test against fellow Go Fishers and reel in your victory catch.
When you Play 1v1 Go Fishing! will randomly look for another player around your level to pair you up. The location will be chosen at random based on the locations both players have unlocked in common.
You will be prompted to choose one of a selection of fish to catch in this match-up. Your opponent will also have their choice but from a different selection of fish.
Only the selected fish you count towards your total amount of points. On your bottom right corner you can change your target fish. When caught the target fish will change automatically to the other fish. You can keep fishing in order to increase your points. If you happen to reel in a bigger target fish, its points will replace the points of the first caught fish of the same species.
