How to play

Step 1: Build your Dream Team

Before each match, pick 5 Heroes to create your deck. Choose wisely—these are your champions on the battlefield!

Step 2: Master the two phases

Each round has two parts:

1. Placement phase
   • This is where the magic happens! You’ll get 3 turns, and each turn you pick 1 of 2 random Heroes from your deck to place on the board.
   • Got two of the same Hero? Stack ’em! Merging Heroes ranks them up, making them stronger and cooler.
   • Pro tip: Positioning is key. Think ahead to counter your opponent’s moves!
2. Battle phase
   • It’s showtime! Both players’ boards are revealed, and your Heroes jump into action automatically.
   • The player with the most Heroes standing at the end of the battle wins the round.

Keep going until one of you wins 3 rounds. Simple, right?

Leveling Up vs. Ranking Up

Let’s clear this up because it’s important:

• Leveling Up happens in the Deck Menu. Use shards to upgrade your Heroes permanently and make them stronger.

• Ranking Up happens during matches when you merge Heroes. This is a temporary boost for the game you’re playing.

Both make your Heroes stronger, but one’s for the long haul, and the other is all about quick thinking in the moment.

Key & Milestone Chests: Unlock Epic Rewards!

Have you noticed that shiny Key Chest icon on the main screen? That’s your ticket to awesome rewards! 

How It Works

The Key Chest is a progression system that lets you collect keys just by playing matches. Once you’ve gathered enough, you can exchange them for amazing rewards—no time limit, no pressure!

• Win a match? You’ll earn 15 keys!
• Lose a match? Don’t worry, you’ll still get 3 keys!
• You can also score extra keys from the Season Pass, Trophy Road, and special events.

And here’s the best part: you can collect as many keys as you want and open multiple Key Chests at once. Total freedom—open them whenever you’re ready!

Level Up Your Rewards

Opening Key Chests also helps you progress toward even bigger and better rewards. Once you’ve unlocked enough Key Chests, you’ll get access to Milestone Chests with guaranteed heroes!

• Bronze Chest → Guarantees a Rare Hero
• Silver Chest → Guarantees an Epic Hero
• Gold Chest → Guarantees a Legendary Hero

Want a sneak peek at what’s inside? Just tap on the chests to see the possible prizes. Your rewards even scale with the Arena you’re in! That means the higher you climb, the better the loot!

Your journey to greatness starts in Arena 1: Training Camp, but that’s just the beginning. There are 13 Arenas to conquer, each with its own vibe, challenges, and rewards.

Welcome to the Big Leagues: The Challenger Arena

Think you’ve got what it takes to join the elite? Once you’ve crushed all 13 Arenas, you unlock the Challenger Arena.

What makes the Challenger Arena special?

• No new Heroes here—it’s all about proving you’re the best of the best.
• Forget Trophies. Now you earn Challenger Points (CP), which work like a fancy Elo system.

• Global Leaderboard: Show off your skills to the entire world.

Season fun

• Seasons last 3 weeks and line up with the Season Pass.
• At the end of each season, rankings reset slightly, so everyone gets a fresh shot at the top.

Your Progression: XP Road and Trophy Road

Trophy Road

Winning matches earns you Trophies, which unlock new Arenas and rewards.

XP Road

Level up your Heroes to gain XP and unlock rewards like chests, gems, and coins. The more Heroes you upgrade, the stronger your Team Power Bonus, giving all your decks a sweet boost.

Challenge your friends

What’s better than battling strangers? Battling your friends, of course! Create custom matches to see who’s the real Tactician in your squad.
