What is a Cue Collection?
Cue Collections are groups of similarly-themed Cues you can unlock, upgrade and unleash at the tables.
Each Cue Collection has its own special theme. There might be some for different holidays or events, like Christmas, Halloween, or even Horror themes.
But here’s the twist! To fully master your collection, you’ll need to take on special challenges called Missions. As you unlock/upgrade the Cues in each Collection, you’ll earn Collection Points and open up Missions to improve your Collection Level, earn rewards, and get closer to becoming a true master collector!
FAQs:
-
What about cues that are not part of any collection?
New collections will be added periodically. So keep collecting and upgrading all your cues. You will need them for future collections.
-
Can a cue belong to more than one collection?
Yes! Some cues can be part of multiple collections, while others may not be in any collection at all.
-
Do I need to collect all the cues to complete a Cue Collection?
No, you don’t need to collect or upgrade every cue to complete the collection. Completing a collection is based on completing all Missions available!
-
Where do I access my Cue Collection?
Head to the Cues menu and find the Cue Collections tab. There, you’ll see every collection displayed with its own Collection Badge.
If you want to explore a specific collection, simply tap on it to open its Collection Display.
-
What happens when a new cue is released and added to a collection?
The amount of available points increases! However, the points required to unlock Missions will remain the same.
Note: Some helpful labels will appear on the Collection under certain conditions to keep you in the loop. Make sure you stay on top of them!
What is the Collection Level?
The Collection Level shows how far you’ve come in a Cue Collection. Each time you complete a Mission and claim your reward, your Collection Level of that collection increases by one!
What does the Collection Level look like?
Your Collection Level is represented by a Collection Badge. As you level up, this badge gets fancier and shows off your progress. The higher your level, the cooler your badge looks!
On top of that, the Collection’s current level is also displayed right in the header, just below the Collection name, so you can easily keep track of your progress!
FAQs:
-
How do I increase my Collection Level?
You increase your Collection Level by completing Missions. Every time you finish a mission and collect your reward, your level goes up by one.
-
What’s the purpose of the Collection Badge?
The Collection Badge is a visual representation of your Level. As you complete more missions and level up, your badge changes to reflect your progress and skill with that collection.
-
Are all Cue Collections able to reach the same Level?
No, each collection has a different number of Missions, so some collections have a higher max Level than others.
-
How can I see my Cue Collection Levels?
Your Collection Levels will be displayed on your Cue Collections tab and on your profile! This way, you can easily keep track of your progress and show off your mastery achievements to your friends.
Collection Badge: How do you progress and unlock them?
Collection Badge, what is it?
A Badge is like levelling up your skills within a collection. Think of it as earning badges for completing challenges. Each badge makes you a bit more of an expert!
But, here’s the catch: when you first start, all the Missions are locked.
How do you unlock Missions?
To unlock these missions, you’ll need to gather Collection Power Points. You can earn these points from the cues in your collection. Once you’ve collected enough points, you unlock a Mission!
A Quick Breakdown:
- Step 1: Get Collection Power Points by unlocking and upgrading cues in a collection.
- Step 2: Once you’ve collected enough points, you’ll unlock a new Mission.
- Step 3: Complete the mission to boost your collection level in that collection!
Note: Each Mission has its own point requirement, so you’ll need to gather the right amount of points to unlock each one.
FAQs:
-
How do I get Collection Power Points?
You earn Collection Power Points by unlocking and upgrading cues within that specific collection.
-
Why are my Missions locked?
All Missions are locked until you’ve collected enough Collection Power Points from the cues in that collection. Once you’ve gathered enough, the missions will unlock.
-
Do all missions require the same amount of points to unlock?
Nope! Each Mission has its own requirement, so you’ll need different amounts of points to unlock each one.
-
What does it mean when a mission asks me to do a Combination Shot or a Cushion Shot?
- Combination Shot: A shot where the potted ball is not the first ball the cue ball touched. It can be from the first ball hitting another ball that then gets potted, or the cue ball getting deflected into another ball that then gets potted.
- Cushion Shot: A shot where either the cue ball or a potted ball rebounds from a cushion (wall) opposite to the pocket before the ball gets potted.
- For a shot to be considered a Combination Shot or a Cushion Shot, it must not result in a foul. Shots done when breaking the table also don't count.
