As some of you might have noticed, during the last year there have been several changes to the procedures we have in place regarding banned accounts.
And today we announce another big change.
Starting from the 29th of October 2018 we will no longer be transferring purchased items from permanently banned accounts to your new account.
Why is this happening?
There are an increasing number of complaints from players who are very unhappy with the way some players are negatively affecting the game experience. As fair play is important to us, we are taking further action to improve the experience for everyone.
If I am permanently banned, what will happen with my purchases?
If your account is permanently banned, you will lose everything that you have on the account, and will not be entitled to any reimbursement, refund, or any other compensation, except at our sole discretion.
I think I was banned without a reason!!
We will usually only temporarily suspend or permanently ban an account when the account is in breach of our Terms and Conditions. First time offenders will in most cases receive a temporary suspension, and only repeat offenders will receive a permanent ban, although this will depend on the nature of the offence.
Please note Miniclip has a very reliable system that tracks and removes players from the game where there is enough proof of exploits or other activity breaking the Rules (as set out in our Terms and Conditions.). Where necessary, we will also review a banned account to make sure that the ban was legitimate.
You may have a right under applicable data protection laws to object to such processing of your data (please see the Miniclip Privacy Policy for more information). However, please note that it is generally in our overriding legitimate interest to use your data in this way to maintain the integrity of our products and to protect our other customers.
To avoid misuse of your account by others, make sure not to share your account login details with anyone else, as you do not have any control on what other people are doing with your account.
Also, bear in mind, that while you can have multiple accounts, transferring winnings between accounts is against our Terms and Conditions. You can read more about it here “Is coin transferring between accounts allowed?”
