Your adventure through dark tombs, haunted cemeteries and mysterious jungles begins now with Gun and Dungeons!
Embark in a rogue-like experience where you progress through epic maps, facing powerful enemies and acquiring strong gear to help you reach as far as you can!
There are currently two modes available in the game: Story and Survival
Story
In Story players will progress through a series of chapters that will culminate in a boss fight. Progressing through these chapters unlocks gear and currency.
There are a total of 10 chapters at the time of the release.
Each chapter will be divided into stages, and each stage into 4 parts, the last one you must defeat a powerful boss!
Survival
In Survival, the objective is to withstand the waves of enemies for as long as possible. The progression will take you across different random stages. And as you advance through these stages, you will receive power-ups, and items.
Every 5 stages there will be a reward ready to be unlocked. Just do make sure you have progressed far enough in the Story mode so that you have access to all the Survival stages you want.
Power-up system
Power-ups are boosts to character power. They can have different passive effects and there is a total of 6 power-ups that can be used at a time. However, unlocking the 6 slots will require the user to reach level 60. Alternatively, a power-up slot can be purchased with gems.
Upon clearing up part of a stage, you will have the option to choose one of two power ups.
Also, killing monsters will occasionally, drop power ups.
Power ups have different rarities: common (grey); rare (green); elite (blue); heroic (red); legendary (orange).
This means that you can start, for example, with Ricochet common and then Ricochet elite drops - claiming that power-up will result in your equipped common Ricochet to be automatically upgraded.
If you reach the limit of slots for power-ups and try to pick up another one, you will have to discard an already equipped power-up or the one you just got. The most recent looted power-up is highlighted as "new".
If you do not wish to claim any of the power-ups, tap the "No, thank you button". This way you can continue playing with the current equipped power-ups.
Gear
Gear allows the character to become stronger. Gear can be acquired from chests, daily rewards and completing chapters. Gear can be upgraded using coins and also scrolls. Scrolls are tied to a specific piece of gear, for example boots or armour.
By resorting to the Blacksmith you can use the Fusion system which allows 3 pieces of the same gear to be combined into a higher rarity version of it.
Weapons, however, cannot be fused.
Weapons can be upgraded, using coins. This will increase the stats of that weapon, or they can also be evolved, by using other unwanted weapons, you can greatly increase the overall stats of this weapon you are trying to improve.
Talents
With talents it is possible to permanently increase stats of your choosing. While power-ups are tied to a specific run, talents are baseline improvements to the account.
This includes 3 columns, power, which is focused on damage output, vitality, to increase survivability, and fortune centered around better drops of currencies and items.
Choose wisely because resetting these talents requires a certain amount of gems.
It's important to be aware that there are several tiers of talents. Tier 6 is the last one and in order to progress to the next tier, it is required to spend a fixed amount of points in the previous tier.
Daily gifts
These - as the name suggests - can be claimed on a daily basis, so make sure you don't miss out on them! There is a "free" column and a "daily fortune" column, which awards the indicated prize upon watching a video ad.
Settings
Important: At the moment, there is no possibility to link your progress in the game to Google Play or Facebook. Account management functionalities will be added soon.
Until then, please keep in mind that:
- Your progress in the game is only saved in your device. This means that, if you uninstall the game or reset your device you will lose, or are likely to lose your account.
- There is no way, at the moment, to transfer your account to another device
The game has 2 different framerates, it can run at 30 frames per second or 60 frames. The default option is 30, but at 60 the game will run smoother at the cost of it being more hardware demanding and consequently, battery life (possibly heat). So if you feel you are losing too much battery or the device is overheating, we recommend that you keep this setting at 30 frames.
That's it for now!
