Card stats and skills are the corner stones of a good line-up. By mix and matching different types of players and skills you can devise the strategy that best suits you.
Let's understand how to interpret your card's information.
Pitcher and Hitter Skills
There aren't two equal players in Baseball Clash. This way, you can build your team according to your style and preference, choosing your line up according to the special talent/power and statistics of each player.
Pitcher's skills:
Control - Ability to throw the ball more accurately. A higher control stat will result in a smaller area where the ball can be thrown when you are pitching.
Velocity - ability to throw the ball faster. The bigger this stat is, the faster the ball can be thrown.
Movement - ability to throw a bigger change. It affects the dynamic of the ball when is being pitched. For example, a slider curves more when the movement is higher.
Spin - ability to improve the pitcher's throw. Higher spin means a higher chance that the ball won’t fly further and higher.
Hitter's skills:
Contact - ability to hit the ball more accurately. With a bigger contact stat, you can see a bigger contact area when batting.
Power - ability to hit the ball further. The more power your character has, the easiest could be to hit a home-run!
Speed - ability to run faster. This skill helps your players to reach the next base more easily.
Throwing - affects throw distance and accuracy when defending. Don't let them reach your base!
Fielding - ability to catch your opponent's ball better when defending. Keep it tight and secure!
White, Yellow, Orange and Red colouring
This represents your players base stats. After 100 stat points the colouring changes from white to yellow. At 150 points it changes to orange. ( It will change to red at 200 points/ when it maxes out).
<100 - white >100 and <150 - yellow |
>150 and <200 - orange >200 - red |
Green Colouring
Stat points with green colouring appear between brackets. They inform you of the increase in stat points after you upgrade your card.
Following the example on the left picture: if you increase the level of that player, the contact will increase 12 points, to 136 (124+12).
Temporary Stats
When new cards are introduced we want players to try them out and include them in their line-up. In order to not drag your team down, we will temporarily match your new card to your highest level card. This will happen automatically and your card will revert to its level on its own. The displayed stats information is always in reference to the cards current level, temporary boost included.
Stat raising skills
Some skills boost certain card's stat points if certain conditions are met. These boosts are not displayed in your card's skill point information.
Skill affecting stats
Baseball Clash players have unique skills. The better the players' stats, the better the skill becomes. For instance, Koo's Super Diving Catch is reliant on his Fielding stat points. The more stat points the broader his diving range.
