How to Manage and Recover Your Account in Ghost Invasion

Why It Matters

Your account is where all your hard work, progress, and unlocks live. Securing it makes sure you won’t lose everything if you switch devices, reinstall the game, or take a break and come back later.

Guest Accounts: What You Need to Know

• On Android: Guest accounts are temporary. If you uninstall or reinstall the game, a brand new guest account is created and your old one is gone.
• On iOS: Guest accounts stick around more reliably, but they’re still not as safe as secured accounts.

➡️ Bottom line: if you’re playing as a guest, you risk losing your progress. We strongly recommend securing your account!

Securing Your Account

Here’s how to lock in your progress:

1. Tap the gear icon to open the settings menu.
2. Go to the Account tab.
3. Select Save Account and follow the steps to link it (Google Play, Game Center, etc.).

Once secured, your progress is tied to that account method and safe from accidental wipes.

Getting Your Account Back

Lost your progress? No worries—if you secured your account, you can get it back:

1. Open the gear menu again.
2. Go to the Account tab.
3. Choose Retrieve Account.
4. Log in using the same method you picked when you saved it.

⚠️ Important: You can only recover accounts on devices with the same operating system (Android ↔ Android, iOS ↔ iOS). Cross-platform play isn’t supported yet.
