Balls and Points
- Red = 1
- Yellow = 2
- Green = 3
- Brown = 4
- Blue = 5
- Pink = 6
- Black = 7
You start with 15 reds and 6 colored balls on the table.
Basic Gameplay
- Pot a Red First: You must pot a red ball first, then a colored ball.
- Alternate Shots: Keep alternating between reds and colors until you miss.
- Re-spot Colors: After potting a colored ball (after a red), it is returned to the table. Reds are not returned.
- Final Sequence: Once all reds are gone, pot the remaining colors in order: Yellow → Green → Brown → Blue → Pink → Black. These are not re-spotted.
- Winning: The player with the highest points wins the frame.
Strategy Tips
- Aim for high-value balls after reds to maximize points.
- The maximum break is 147 points: red → black repeatedly, then all colors in sequence.
Fouls and Special Situations
- Snookered: If you cannot hit the next red directly, your opponent is “snookered.” Hitting incorrectly gives them points.
- Cue Ball Foul: If the cue ball is potted, it is returned to the table.
- Touching Ball: If the cue ball touches another ball during your shot, you must play away from that ball without moving it.
Advanced Rules
- Snooker Fouls: If you foul while snookered, your opponent can force you to replay the shot up to 3 times, each time giving them points.
