In Patch 2.3, we’re adjusting the balance of pitchers and catchers to keep matches competitive and the meta evolving.
How will these changes shape the 2026 Baseball Clash meta?
Let’s find out! ⚾
Patch Highlight
- Fernandez
Fernandez’s hit-distance reduction based on the runner’s base position has been slightly adjusted:
- Previously: -5% / -7% / -10%
- New: -4% / -6% / -8%
When Fernandez’s skill is active, hitting can become extremely difficult. Based on gameplay data and performance statistics, his skill effect has been slightly tuned to maintain fair and competitive play while preserving his identity.
- Adder
When Adder calls a defensive shift, infielders will now reposition faster, improving overall defensive coverage.
Long known as a benchwarmer, Adder has been reborn through hard work! With improved throwing and quicker defensive shifts, he now stands out as a top-tier defensive catcher ready to lock down the field.
- Murdock
Thanks to relentless training, Murdock’s pitch speed and control have increased.
His skill that reduces hit distance with two strikes is now 5% more effective, making him even tougher to deal with in clutch counts.
Additionally, Murdock has refined his arsenal—his Changeup has been upgraded to a Circle Changeup, adding more deception to his pitches.
With these improvements, now is Murdock’s time to step up and become a true legend on the mound.
- Marie
Marie is already known as the fastest pitcher in the league, but her control has always held her back. That’s starting to change.
After intense training:
- Control increased by 15%
- Pitch speed bonus increased from +25 to +30
With better command and even more velocity, this season is the perfect time to trust Marie as your starting pitcher.
- Jessica
Jessica’s skill effect has been reduced by 5%.
Her pitch target area reduction was extremely strong, especially compared to other catchers. This adjustment opens up more starting opportunities across the catcher roster while keeping her skill impactful.
- Rose
Like Jessica, Rose’s pitch target area reduction effect has also been reduced by 5%.
While slightly tuned down, when paired with the newly improved Marie, the sisters’ battery should deliver even tighter command and smarter pitch placement than before.
- Garcia
Once rarely seen in higher leagues, Garcia has put in the work and added a forkball to his arsenal.
With a mix of four-seam fastballs and sharp drop, try him as a starter and keep batters guessing at every at-bat.
- Erik
A favorite in lower leagues but less common at the top levels—just like Garcia—Erik has trained hard to earn his spot in the rotation.
By mastering the sinker, his fastball now brings even more deception. Will it ride high or dive late?
Look forward to Erik challenging hitters with powerful, unpredictable pitches!
That’s all for this balance patch!
As we move into the coming year, our development team will continue working to deliver a fun, fair, and competitive Baseball Clash experience.
