Why and how to save a Guest Account

Protecting your game progress is essential to ensure you never lose your hard-earned achievements. At Miniclip, we strongly recommend saving your guest account by linking it to a social network like Google, Facebook, or Apple. This simple step secures your progress and ensures it can be restored if something happens to your device.

Why should you save your guest account?

Imagine this: you’ve been making great progress in your favorite game, unlocking levels, earning rewards, and enjoying every moment. Then, one day, you lose your phone, upgrade to a new device, or accidentally uninstall the app. Suddenly, all your game progress is gone because your account wasn’t linked to an external platform.

When this happens, everything tied to your guest account—your level, purchases, coins, items, and more—will be permanently lost. Unfortunately, guest accounts cannot be recovered under any circumstances.

Don’t let this happen to you! By linking your account to a platform like Google, Facebook, or Apple, your game progress is safely stored and can be restored at any time.

How to save your Guest Account

Saving your guest account is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:

1. Open the Settings Menu on the main screen of the game.
2. Click on Account.
3. Select the option you prefer:
   • Google
   • Facebook
   • Apple

How to check if your account is linked

Not sure if your account is already linked? Here’s how you can verify:

1. Open the Settings Menu on the main screen.
2. Click on Account to view your linked account status.

If no account is listed, take a moment to link one to secure your progress.

What happens if you don’t save your account?

If your guest account is not linked to a platform, it is tied exclusively to the device you’re currently using. This means:

• If you lose or reset your device, your progress will be lost.
• Any levels, coins, purchases, and rewards cannot be recovered.
• We are unable to assist in recovering lost guest accounts.

To avoid these issues, link your account today!

Switching devices or restoring progress

By linking your account, you can easily switch to a new device or restore your progress if you reinstall the game. Simply log in with the same Google, Facebook, or Apple account you used to link your game, and your progress will be waiting for you.

8 Ball Pool 

First, from the main menu, select the cog icon in the bottom left hand corner to access your settings.

Then, simply choose whether you would like to connect with Facebook, Google or Apple using the buttons provided. Google will only be available on Android devices, and Apple is available on Apple devices. After logging in and linking your account, your 8 Ball Pool progress will be safe. 

Carrom Pool: Disc Game

1. First, go to your settings by selecting the cog icon in the top left hand corner.



2. Depending on if you have an Android or Apple device, you will be given the option to log into Facebook and Google or Apple. 



3. By linking your account with Facebook, you can enjoy a special gift of 100 gems!

Ultimate Golf

1. Go to the Settings and select 'Manage'.

2. Select 'Secure this profile' from the options provided. 

3. You will be given the option to secure your account with Facebook, a phone number, and if you have an iOS device, your Apple ID. Simply select the method of your choice and follow the login prompt, and your account is safe. 

Football Strike

1. From the main menu of your game, select the cog to go to "Settings".

2. You can choose to log into your Facebook account, or if you have an iOS device, you can use your Apple ID. After following the login prompt, you're free to enjoy the game knowing your progress is secure.

Soccer Stars

1. Tap the cog on your main menu to enter your settings.

2. Choose the login type you prefer: "Login with Facebook" (available on Android and iOS devices) or “Sign in with  Apple” (available only on iOS devices).

Baseball Clash

1. Go to the settings of the game in the top right corner. 

2. Choose the service you wish to use: "Sign in with Facebook" or "Sign in with Apple" (only available on iOS devices). Linking your account to Facebook will give a special gift of 50 gems!

Mini Football

1. Go to your settings (top left corner).

2. Choose whether you would like to connect to Facebook or Apple (only available on iOS devices).

Golf Battle

1. Tap the cogwheel button at the top left side of your screen.

2. Choose how you would like to secure your account - Facebook for Android and iOS devices, and Apple for iOS devices only. For connecting with Facebook, you will be granted a 100 gem gift. 

Basketball Stars

1. First, access your settings at the top of the screen.

2. Choose the login type you prefer, from Facebook or Apple. Apple sign in is only available on iOS devices. 

Ludo Party

1. Tap the cogwheel button at the top left side of your screen to access your settings.

2. Choose the login type you prefer: "Login with Facebook" (available on Android and iOS devices);  “Login with Google” (available only on Android devices) or "Sign in with Apple" (available only on iOS devices).

Agar.io

1. Go to your settings from the main menu.

2. Depending on your device, choose to login with Facebook or Google, or Facebook or Apple.
