The ability to change or reset  password is available only for stand-alone Miniclip accounts (the ones that are able to log in using Miniclip ID credentials), even if  later on they were  linked to a social platform (Facebook, Google or Apple).

Important: It is no longer possible to create stand alone Miniclip accounts, which means that the processes described below are not available for accounts linked only to a social platform.

Now, on to the processes:
 

Change Miniclip password

1. Go to https://me.miniclip.com/ and log in using your Miniclip credentials



2.  Once you are logged in click on the "Change Password" tab (if you do not have this tab, that it means that the connected account is not a stand-alone one)

3. Enter the new password twice 

4. Confirm by hitting the "Change" button. 

Reset Miniclip Password

1. Go to https://me.miniclip.com/ and click on "I forgot my password"

2. Enter your email address and confirm by clicking on "RECOVER PASSWORD".




 

3. Go to your inbox and open the "Recover your password" email.

4. Click on the link "Reset Password" a web page will pop up.

5. Enter the new password twice (it must have at least 8 characters) and hit "SUBMIT" to confirm the change.

FAQ

1. Why didn't I receive the password recovery email?
   • Check if it is a valid email. If you used a fake or mistyped email address,  it will  not be possible to receive a password reset email.
   • If the email is the same you are using with your game account.

   • Check your spam folder to make sure that the password recovery email is not there. 

      

2. My current account is a guest account. Now what?
   • If your account is a guest account, it is not possible to recover a password. So if you still have access to it via any of our games, make sure to “upgrade” it by linking it to a social platform

3. My account is linked with Facebook, Apple or Google, how do I recover its password?
   • As mentioned before, only stand-alone Miniclip accounts can use the password reset/change described in this article. However, you can recover your social platform’s password:
     • Google
     • Facebook
     • Apple
