Hey Mini Footballers, welcome to our big 5th Anniversary update, v4.0! ⚽️🔥

Looking back at 5 years of progress and additions we feel it's time to improve the overall experience in Mini Football. We’ve reworked the game to make progress smoother, the rewards more exciting and the whole experience feel better than ever!

Updated Visuals

We’ve redesigned all player cards to make them stand out while making Legendary and Mythical cards even more unique and recognizable. All of your current cards are automatically upgraded to this new style so enjoy it right after updating!

UI has been polished and effects have been added during gameplay making the action more readable. While you’re playing, notice how different rarity characters have different visual flair when shooting. More to come in future updates, so stay tuned for that.

Rebalanced Player Ratings and Upgrades

One thing that was holding us back from proper future content and features is the Player Rating progression. We want to enhance the feeling of having a truly more powerful team on the field after obtaining higher rarity cards. This required making meaningful power gaps between rarities and impacts ratings and upgrade levels. The table below highlights the differences across default rarities:

With these changes, every step up to a higher rarity character is a noticeable improvement in your team's performance on the field. This makes a new character feel impactful rather than just marginally better, quickly leading to your new man of the match! The new ratings will be applied to all existing characters automatically.

Victory Path

The classic “1 vs 1” mode has been renamed to Victory Path: more stadiums, better reward progression and specific milestones to unlock higher tiers. New information panels will show you exactly which cards will be added to packs at which tier. This makes progressing on the Victory Path essential for important team upgrades as it directly ties to what rewards you can get from most packs. Reach for the stars!

Improved Drop Rates and Rewards

Understanding what cards drop from which packs is key to progress through the game. Coupled with unlocking higher tiers through the new Victory Path, there’s now a clear understanding of what to expect when. We also rebalanced the system and significantly boosted chances at obtaining Legendary and Mythical characters!

Next to that, we updated the rewards throughout the game. It’s all about receiving meaningful items worth your effort. Whether leveling up, finishing a difficult tournament or ranking high in a specific league.

Q&A

Q: Better level-up rewards you say?

A: Yes! As you level up, you’ll now get rewards that more closely match your current stage in the game. Gone are the days of only receiving a few gems even when reaching level 300.

Q: What are the new visual effects during gameplay?

A: We’ve added flashy, rarity-based effects when you play so your legendary moments really look legendary. They also help make certain actions more visible while playing.

Q: What’s this about showing drop chances?

A: Every pack will clearly show the probability of what you might get from it. When you go up in tiers and unlock new cards and rarities, it is also immediately reflected. No more guessing and full transparency!

Q: What happens to my current tier?

A: After updating, you will have automatically unlocked the tier equal to the highest you’ve ever reached before. It will not be set to your current tier at the time of the update.

Q: What about character upgrades with these new player ratings?

A: Upgrade paths have been refined and this means a lower max potential for entry level rarities and a higher one for Mythicals. Of course, you get to keep any cards over max level for club donations and maybe something else in the future...

Q: So I won’t lose any cards, coins or gems with all of these changes, right?

A: Correct! Everything’s safe in your account as always.
