What is a Tournament with Friends?
Have you ever wanted to run your own tournament and challenge your friends for coins and glory?
With Tournament with Friends, you can host private competitions (for up to 8 players) consisting of quarter finals, semi final and final, where the winner takes the bigger pot and the second a smaller one.
And if you are the host, you decide the table and invite others to join. Once enough players are ready, the tournament kicks off, and everyone competes for the prize pool — and, of course, the bragging rights 😎.
Creating a Tournament lobby
The first step is to access your "Friends" interface, by clicking on the icon in the left bottom corner.
You will then be able to either create a new Tournament with Friends or join an existing one (as long as you have the correspondent code).
Finally, you will have to select the Table that the tournament will be played on. Besides the prize, this decision also affects the rules of the game.
Inviting players to the lobby
There are a few different ways to get your friends into your tournament:
-
Lobby Code: Every Lobby comes with a unique code. By tapping on it, you can copy it to your clipboard and easily share it with friends. (The code is hidden by default, but you can reveal it when needed.)
-
Invite Friends button: As displayed in the image above, if you prefer to select specific friends, just tap the Invite Friends button and pick who you want to bring in.
-
Auto-invite: If you enable the Automatically invite all friends option, invites are already on their way to everyone in your list.
As mentioned before, the Lobby can hold up to 8 players, and the slots will fill up as players join.
Inside the Lobby, you’ll find a chat button that opens the usual chat and emoji panel. You can send emotes, pre-set messages, and even free chat — even if not all players are mutual friends.
Once at least 4 players have joined the Lobby, the Host will see the Start Tournament button appear at the bottom of the screen. As soon as the Host presses it, the tournament begins — and no new players can join.
Entry fees and Rewards
Every tournament has an entry fee in Coins, which depends on the table chosen when the Lobby was created.
The combined entry fees make up the prize pool, which goes to the winner at the end of the tournament.

Good luck!
