“You get on base; we win. You don’t; we lose.” — Billy Beane
Baseball can have a lot of Math and Statistics, but let us make your life easier with this simple guide for the Hitting Stats. Understanding a bit more about those numbers can help you while facing an opponent and when you are building your team!
Note that since every player in Baseball Clash is different, trying out new players and get used to them is important. You never know if you have a diamond in rough sitting on your bench!
It's possible to check different batter/hitter stats:
- On the Cards menu, while preparing your line-up:

OBP | On-base Percentage - how frequent a batter reaches base per plate appearance; shows which hitters have avoided an out more frequently. | 0.312 |
SLG | Slugging Percentage - total number of bases a player records per at-bat (deals only with hits) |

OPS | On-base Plus Slugging - combines the last two numbers in one unit. Shows how well a hitter can reach base, with how well he can hit for average and for power. |

We wanted to keep it simple, but if you need more details about a certain stat, we invite you to search it on MLB's Glossary.
Let's play ball!
