Game Modes in Ultimate Golf

When you tap “Play Golf” from the Home Menu, you’ll find three main game modes:
 

1. Head-to-Head (H2H)

The main game mode in Ultimate Golf.

• Play 1v1 matches on a single hole.
• Pay the entry fee to join — winner takes both entry fees plus trophies.
• Win condition: fewer strokes than your opponent.

If tied, you’ll play a tie-breaker Par 3 hole — closest to the pin wins.

Tickets:

• The free Season Pass includes 1 H2H ticket.
• The paid Season Pass offers up to 7 H2H tickets throughout the season.
• Your ticket balance is shown on the H2H event/match entry screen.

Leagues & Divisions

• Each week, you’re placed in a “My League” leaderboard with 100 players.
• Earn coins in Head-to-Head to move up divisions, stay put, or avoid relegation.
• Higher divisions = more rewards (like club cards in Mystery Bags) and unlock access to tougher Tours, Golf Royale, and Tournament events.

2. Tournaments

Compete in multi-hole stroke play events against players worldwide.

• Choose a division: Amateur, Rookie, Veteran, Pro, or Tour Pro (unlocked by your weekly league rank).
• Pay the entry fee to join.
• Win condition: lowest total strokes. Leaderboards show final rankings and rewards.
• Tournament settings (number of holes, courses, rules) may change weekly.

3. Golf Royale

A fast-paced, 3-round “Closest to the Pin” elimination event.

• Multiple events run daily — check the Royale tab for schedules.
• Enter up to 10 minutes before start time. If you miss the start, you’re eliminated.

• Points are scored by landing closest to the pin.
  • No points if you miss the green.
  • Each round is timed.
     
• Advance by ranking high enough each round; fall short and you’re eliminated.
   

Divisions & Rewards

• Division determines difficulty (wind, meter speed, pin placement) and rewards.
• You can only play divisions you’ve reached in your weekly league.

Balls in Royale

• You can use non-basic balls — but note, 1 ball is consumed per round.
• Run out? You’ll be given basic balls or can buy more if you have cash.

Summary
