Horse Racing Hero

We knew the end was "neigh" but it's always hard putting an old horse down.

No use in "whinnying" now, Horse Racing Hero will be riding into the sunset as of September 2nd. We thank each and everyone of you that put on your best jokey outfit and bet on our "horsey of a game"  to succeed.

Horse Racing Hero was a jokey horse-racing game that would let you take care of your stable and make your horse race against several other player's four legged snort machines.

Bettering your horse was done through a slot machine-like minigame that would let you level up your stead and look out for its stats. These included "feeding", "grooming" and "training". Having these parameters filled gave your horse the best chances at the races.

Races had a limited number entry that could go up to 20. Not only were you able to submit more than just one horse, you were also encouraged to bet on other player's horses. These race happened at a schedule  time and if were you to take part in the race you could cheer on your horse, or a horse you bet win, to give them a boost in performance. Likewise, other players that bet on your horse could do the same.

The game also add a robust social feature that would allow you to add friends and check who was ranking up on the leaderboards.

But don't go throwing your hoof picks away. Even though Horse Racing Hero will no longer be available, Miniclip has not left the equestrian space. Horse Racing Rivals is still around and trotting. Give it a try.

What does shutting down the game server mean?

The game is accessible only on your device. You will be able to play offline, but you cannot connect to the game server, play with other players, make purchases etc.

What will happen with my data?

30 days after the shutdown of the server, on 30th October 2025, we will proceed to delete all personal data related to the game which might take until 29th November. 

The process will be automatic, no action is required from the player's side. Read more about the deletion process here ("Deleting the account" section).

I don't want my data to be deleted. Can Miniclip keep my data? 

Unfortunately due to the privacy regulations in many countries, we are unable to preserve your Hockey Stars related personal data.

How come the game is deleted? I still have the game in my phone! 

Miniclip has shut down the game servers, but we cannot delete the game app from your mobile phone. The app will remain in your phone until you decide to delete it.
