March 2023
It has been a hot minute since our last balance update, and we are excited to announce two significant changes coming to Baseball Clash’s gameplay.
Let's take a closer look!
Bat size based on Contact Stats
With this update, a player's bat size will increase based on their Contact stats! In Baseball Clash, a higher contact stat means more precise hits at the plate. However, players have questioned the benefits of higher contact stats since the difference was not noticeable.
Now, the bat size will increase based on the contact stat, making it easier to understand the benefits of having higher contact stats.
Successful hits on a fast ball travel further
With the new update, a successful hit on a fast ball yields a longer travel distance!
It's a fact that faster pitches are harder to hit in baseball in real life, and the same should happen in Baseball Clash. On the other hand, a hit from a fast ball should be harder to catch.
Until now, hitting a fast pitch didn't necessarily mean the ball would travel further in game. This was reviewed and will be fixed with this update.
We should warn you though, that this will make fastballs riskier. Although they are harder to hit, successfully hit fast balls will likely travel much further making the outfielders' job harder.
We hope this change will help break the misconception that "the fastest pitches are always the best choice".
That's it for this update! What do you think of these changes?
